You can reach Trades.Social three ways: call, text or email. For calls and texts the number is (604) 632-4959; for email, write to Ali@Sedighi.ca. Hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day. You'll talk to a senior strategist, not a call centre, and we're happy to work with businesses in every province and territory.
What happens next
Send a short note
Your business name, city and what you need.
Get a reply
Ali or a senior strategist answers, usually the next business day.
Plan the next step
If it fits, you get a clear proposal. If not, honest advice.
Which way to reach us
Each option suits a different situation:
- Call if you'd like a quick conversation about whether we're a fit. It's the fastest way to get a straight answer.
- Text if you're on a job site and want to send a quick note between tasks. A short text is welcome; we'll reply by text or call back, whichever you prefer.
- Email if you want to send photos, screenshots of your current pages, or a longer description of what's going on.
There's no form, chat window or booking calendar on this site, by choice. Real conversations with real people are how we prefer to start.
What to include in your first message
You don't need to write a proposal. A few details help us give you a useful answer the first time:
- Your trade and the two or three job types you most want more of
- Your service area, such as the towns, suburbs or regions you cover
- Links to your current pages on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube, if you have them
- Three recent job photos, ideally a before and an after
- Your crew size, so we can suggest a filming routine that fits
- What's prompted you to get in touch now, whether it's a slow season, a new crew or a bad past experience
Here's a template you can copy into a text or an email:
Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We're a [Trade] company serving [Service area] with [Number] crews. We're on [Platforms] but posting is inconsistent. We'd like more [Job type] work. Here are a few recent photos. Can we talk this week?
What happens next
After you get in touch, the process is simple:
- We reply, usually within one business day, to set a time for a call.
- We have a free first consultation of about 30 minutes for eligible trades businesses. We look at your current pages and photos together and talk about your goals, crew and season.
- We send a short written recommendation, covering which platforms to focus on, which services make sense, and the plan and price. Prices follow our pricing page.
- You decide. If you go ahead, we start with consent templates and shot lists. If you don't, you keep the recommendations.
Before you contact us
If you'd like to do some reading first, these pages answer most early questions:
- The services overview explains each service and where to start
- The FAQ covers cost, contracts, ownership and results
- The photo consent guide is worth reading whether or not you hire us
A reminder about what we do
Trades.Social is a social media, marketing and business consulting service for Canadian trades. We aren't a contractor, so installing, repairing and servicing are never part of what we do. If you're a homeowner looking for a tradesperson, we're not the right contact, and we'd suggest searching for a licensed local business in your area.
We're part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. You can read more about us.
How we handle your information
When you call, text or email, we use your details only to reply and to work with you. We don't add you to marketing lists, and we only email people who contacted us first. Our privacy page has the full details.
Frequently asked questions
What's the quickest way to reach you?
A call or text to (604) 632-4959 during office hours, Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. Email works well if you want to attach job photos or links to your pages.
Can I text outside business hours?
Yes. Send it whenever suits you. We usually reply within one business day, so a Saturday text will normally be answered early in the following week.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Not formally. A few recent job photos, links to your current social pages and your service area make the first conversation much more useful.
Will I be pressured into signing up?
No. The first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses and comes with no obligation. Plans are month-to-month if you do go ahead.
